Once you have completed your  Part 1 training you can discuss EMDR cases with an Accredited EMDR Consultant.  This will help you fine-tune your skills and prepare you well for the Intermediate (Part 2) and Part 3 courses.
In  order to go on to attain recognition from EMDR Europe as an Accredited Practitioner it is a requirement that you have consultation on your practice from an Approved EMDR Consultant.  He/She will train you to meet the requirements laid down by EMDR United Kingdom and Ireland which are also recognised by EMDR Europe Association.

At tmr health professionals we have four Approved Consultants, one of whom is accredited as an EMDR Trainer.  All four Consultants hold the honours of  also being Facilitators with the EMDR Institute, the body that has conducted EMDR trainings of the highest standard throughout the world.

Consultation can be on an individual basis or arranged in groups.  Face-to-face sessions work well but telephone contact can also be effective where geographical distance presents a challenge to you.
